If you are a woodturner of small items like pens, wine stoppers, salt and pepper shakers, knobs, drawer pulls, etc., this is a great deal.

This box contains 12 pounds of beautiful wood in the form of turning squares (also called billets and blanks) of both domestic and imported hardwoods. The six photos show each piece in the box, identify each piece, and gives the dimensions of each piece. All dimensions are in inches.

These were cut from small boards leftover from my furniture operations. Because they are so beautiful, I put three hours into cutting them and preparing this listing. Please put them to good use in your craft. This wood deserves another useful life.

The chestnut came from a very old Amish barn in Lancaster County, PA. The walnut came from an ancient tree that finally died in Chester County, PA. The longleaf pine came from a circa 1820 grist mill near Roanoke, VA. Much of the lumber I sell was recovered from old buildings during their demolition.

These wood billets ship in a medium flat rate box. All the pieces shown are actually in the box you will receive.

Price is $37.00 plus $13 shipping cost.

Received these today, they are awesome and so fun. My wife and I looked at them for an hour, thank you for numbering them! Going to enjoy learning turning with things like this!

Glad you like them Joe. Don't know if you have any young children around but even the smallest of those billets exceed the CPSC child toy guide for small parts choking hazards. So they can also double as children's wood blocks until you turn them. Your walnut crotch board looks like it's a day behind and will be delivered tomorrow.

Thank you very much, I didn't realize that about the sizes. It was really nice how you numbered them, we both learned a lot and had a fun evening with them. She usually could not care less about wood, tools or anything related to either but she actually really enjoyed that package!
