Machine is rejecting me today-:dash2::dash2: Wind River requested some 2" He wants 2 pieces so he is first in line. 2"x19+" x8' curly... Flame is 35" itself and board is 12-14"x61" x11/16 planed 2S. Look to next post for info on 8x8 in first pic. All trade for ? or for sale.

Mike, I'd love a 19x19x2" figured platter blank if you get around to selling or trading some of this stuff. I'd love to make a platter from some of that pretty stuff!

David, windriver wants 2 platter blanks- I will put you second. The whole piece is curly- only the one end has cracks.

I do flat work and boxes-burls accent wood- I am easy!!
 
I'll dig through my stuff and see what I can come up with that's burly and/or figured.

I had nothing to do with this conspiracy Ken. Mike is the one who prominently displayed the contraption - and then that Paul guy down in SOUTH Texas (they are lessers that us refined north Texans) and then of course with the big cat old habits die hard - he can infil/exfil before you can say what happened and you never know what hit you. :bomb: :scare3:

Not to derail the tangential nature of the thread, but I wanted Mike to know that I posted some stuff in another trade thread in case he wanted something there in exchange for the platter blank I requested.

Mike, I'd like to double my order if possible... Two blanks for me please! Do you want us to choose? I trust ya man... You pick two, and I'll send money... Doesn't look like there's an ugly spot on that plank anyway!:clapping:

As soon as Tom picks I will pick 2 for you if you want. Like I said this is the bad side. I cringe at cutting it but that is probably why I am overrun with wood. I sure can't nor want to build fast enough to get rid of it all. If you look at flatwork section my dresser and nightstand came from this tree. Pics when done pleaseeee??? Also freight will be cheaper per board that way with 2 pieces.
