This wood is pretty bland, not much figure and not much more color. [attachment=8610] It is great for finials. [attachment=8611] It takes detail well and dyes well. I've got enough for an MFB and a couple of SFBs. Most anything will work in trade, I just don't want to have to burn it to get rid of it. It has been boiled, so it is stable and it is dry.

Okay then, the wood is going to go on a one way camping :bbq2: trip this weekend. My grandchildren can make smores over it.

Okay Kevin, I can do that. You caught me just in time, it was in the trailer and I was checking my email one last time. Out it comes. I will stash it in a safe place. Unfortunately the older I get the safer these places are, I forget where I put so much stuff.
