I bought 5 of these pen blanks a while back and am still kicking myself for buying pen blanks. That said, I decided to keep 2 (In case I blow 1 pen up). This Koa is curly enough to knock the socks off any average penturner. I mean...it's kinda scary curly. It better be anyway...

I thought I'd offer up these 3 pen blanks for 1 knife block of something cool. Needs to be pretty figured/burly and preferably something I don't have (pretty tall order). I know, it's a small trade but I'm tired of lookin at em. Won't hurt my feelings if I have to keep em, but they are very distracting.

They are 13/16" square by about 5". Razor is in the pic for scale

I wish I woulda bought a knife block instead of pen blanks... :banghead: Pics are of opposite sides

And do you need 2" stuff or 1 1/2"

If I knew, I'd tell ya. Not that biguva deal though. As long as it's something nice, it's all good . I would say, please no maple/cherry burl. I'm pretty well stocked up on that.

2" or 1 1/2" is fine with me.
 
Hey Cody, you want any more of what I sent you in the past? I would love to work a trade for these!
 
Figured coco, ABW, Amboyna burl, Amazon Rosewood (with that nasty figure/burl/ugliness)?

Andrew, I would say the Amboyna would be my first pick. I don't think I could ever get enough of that stuff. Either that or a piece of that weirdo rosewood. That stuff is pretty cool too.
 
Cody, here are a few pieces that I think are worthy to be put on a Kilgore Blade. Beware of that rosewood... she is mean! PLEASE post pics when you get that on a knife!

Oh and the light spot on the piece on the left is a bit soft... you might want to throw that in your chamber.
