So, got this Alaska paper birch chunk from Barb 5 years ago. I took a 3/4" slab off to make a sample with spalt. Did not feel right cutting the rest up, so I thought I'd put it back out there. Birch is a half round, 9" long, 4.75" tall and 7" wide. There is some white rot, line spalt and a heavy check. Who wants to gamble? I put these 1.75" x 11" curly Red maple blanks and a few "pen blanks" in to firm up the box. Asking $25 shipped.

Ya, only showed the honey locust blank, others are to be discovered....

Know the feeling, thanks Phil.

Side note to others, this is Alaska paper birch, Betula neoalaskana. Only native to one US state. Sure you can guess which state.
 
Steven, if you really want it, ill concede. It'll just be put on my pile of things to do and that pile has gotten to be the size of a city block!

Really? I meant it as a joke. I am not complaining of course though I don’t really know when I can collect. Assuming your answer to my joke is not a joke, I will take a screenshot and keep it until I remember and can collect.

Steven, you should take Mike up on his offer, being it does not happen often. I assure you, there is enough value in the packing items that the birch is just a nice plus. Let me know what you guys decide. Thank you.
