Yep...flakes are good. She loves cobalt blue....and the flakes look like "bling"

I will be out of pocket on a family trip the second part of next week but will be back at it Monday. If I get the Cactus Tuesday I will get your cut and cleaned so they can be drying while I am away.

omg...the temps up here are in the high 90's to 100's. only a spot of rain too.

For a saw blade I use a 3/4" x 2tpi blade and kiss them with 150 grit, but that is a straight cut w/ a wide kerf. You can cut this just like wood and use any tool on them that you can wood. The only thing to remember is "HEAT IS THE ENEMY", if your tools get hot it will gum up on you. Light cuts and keep the tools cool.

Howdy guys! I got my pucks! I love the color! The mrs loves the color! Thanx so much for them. I wiped one with adamp rag and the sparkles in it popped right out! Thats awesome fellas!!

Sanding, will you be applying a finish? I would recommend a CA finish and with a finish yes you can wet sand. I would be weary of not applying a finish and while I don't feel wet sanding will hurt, I think the lack of finish will in the long run, for what you are using them for that is.

How did you put it on ? Ca is best put on while the piece is spinning on a lathe with a paper towel, You might find it easier and better to not use CA but use Clear Deft Brushing Lacquer, then you don't need the spin, every thing you see that I have posted from trumpet and pot call blanks and pen blanks all are Deft Brushing Lacquer finishes and they all look pretty good and I only sand to 220, just enough to take off the rough and show the grain.
Chris or others might have a better idea.

Ohh man, I bet that was a site. CA turns to Web when it leaves the material. If you want to go that route I would recommend using a Med or Thick CA and putting it on w/out the drill. You may need to go a little thicker (more coats not more CA per coat) because you will have some ridges but there is no reason it cant be done that way. Be careful not to pool the CA on because it can get to hot in curing and turn white. When I do CA I will put 20-30 coats on sometimes to be able to fill everything in.
