**ENDED** Aspen Burl Pen Blanks +

Here are 9 +/- Aspen Burl pen blanks that have been stabilized along with some pieces that broke during processing. The blanks are a little fragile and could be a little tricky to turn needing some CA crack repairing and fill. But, the wood is really awesome. I am asking $20 for the whole lot and this includes shipping in a SFRB. Add another $4 ($24 total) for the stabilized 4" X 2-3/4" X 1-1/14" piece. Thanks for looking.

That's a great deal, Eric! Aspen burl is one of my all time favorite pen woods... Gorgeous stuff!

Thank David, I really like the idea of aspen burl, I lived in Colorado for for quite a few years. I have never turned a pen, but until a couple of weeks age I hadn't turned a bottle stopper. I could learn.:yipee::yipee::yipee::yipee::yipee:

The blanks are beautiful,:good2::good2::good2: they arrived yesterday. Now all I need to do is learn to turn pens. Well, that can't be rocket science. So in a few weeks, when I have more time, I'll give it a try. I know a couple of pen turners who will probably show me the ropes. So, Thanks Eric. This will probably be another level of my turning addiction. :lolol:
