I understand what you are saying, but I would like to say there have been times when people that wanted something and then didnt follow thru on there commitment.. in all fairness then I should be able to say here is the wood you committed too? Mike, let me know your thoughts!

Mike, If you read the rules-you will find that you should give lonestar the second chance- Now this does not mean that you have to wait if Lonestar fades away but his post was fresh. The rules are there for a reason- I had nothing to do with making them but I will make an effort to see that we try to follow them.

This is the world a seller lives in- would like to see the stack of contracts-signed that people backed out on that I have?
In all fairness when you post to sell or trade wood you agree to the rules- otherwise we have a free for all and anarchy usually ends badly- My thoughts- They are simple- FOLLOW THE RULES ....... PLEASE..............

I reread the responses and I believe I was fair, Ric asked to buy a piece, SOLD lonestar asked if there was more and kaetamer asked if I had 2 more pieces I responded and ric and kaetamer have wood coming and I have not heard back from lonestar? and there is another piece left, just a little larger and in all honesty they should say they want it or can I BUY it or I'LL TAKE IT.. there is alot of banter here so I think everyone including myself should be a little clearer, so we dont have this confusion in the future as I do have fun on here and have made some nice friends...

I brought it up because new buyers and new sellers need to know the right way to participate in this forum. The first person to respond ( buyer or seller) has the first chance to buy or sell a piece. AFTER the first person has declined an offer then it goes to the second, third, down the line. That's how its been as long as ive been here and I think its simple enough and fair enough for everyone to work with.
You have some beautiful stuff for sale but I was just a little bit heated when I got on last night to see it sold out from under me. No hard feelings but lets make sure we're all on the same page here.

This thread has run its course and will serve as a good reminder to all in the future that there really is a reason for rules. It serves everyone equally.

Ryan, thank you for the upstanding way you dealt with this, and thank you Mike for the same.

woodjunky you can also learn from this if you will. Hopefully so. Let's all move on to the next trade . . . .
