Wood need a few weeks to be perfect dry ,you can keep it at your room (if you wife approve),at room teperature it wont crack,I give you guarantion on that :)

If you haven't had the pleasure gentlemen this wood is beautiful and easy to work with. Don't be afraid of the over seas shipping either, just takes a little longer to show up. :treehugger:
 
Beautiful wood! I am looking for pen blanks 7/8" sq x 5" or larger block that I can cut into blanks.

These are 4 thousandths under 1.5"(1.496")... I'm betting they would work, but then I've never turned a call.:unknown:
