I cut some new (to me) wood and found it to be most unusual! I have never seen Blackjack Oak with such figure. ***this wood is green****
There are 4 Oak Blanks and 1 premium Box Elder blank. The Oak is curly end to end. It has tiger stripe end to end. Most od it is heartwood which is slightly darker than sapwood. These blanks are all lightly sanded and have mineral oil added for effect.

What are the sizes?
5 1/4" long minimum 1 15/16" wide 1"thick min.

I also have quite a bit of this Oak, but the way it was cut combined with it being a Blackjack makes most of the pieces small. I have quite a bit of the Oak cut into different sizes. At present, I have 2 pieces (1bowl blank, and one tall vase/vessel block if anyone is interested.

I'm looking ror Red Jarra or Blk/White Ebony with almost equal black and white. Jimmy
