3/4" x 7 1/4" x 15" This is a very hard, dense wood that, unlike padauk, retains its color with age (it DOES become a DARKER red though). Moderately easy to work, the results are worth the effort.

Please see http://www.woodbarter.com/showthread.php?tid=90 for my barter interests

I'm going to try to find something to trade you for this and possibly the Bubinga you just listed also. But definitely this. I have some of both but only real small pieces of the Bloodwood and I want to make an entire project from it. Nothing special in mind but this piece would be a nice start for a small project and maybe I can trade for some more later with someone else.

So I'm claiming first refusal on this. We need to establish a time limit for that I think but we'll discuss that elsewhere. How about you give me until the end of the weekend to come up with some possible trades (pics posted by then) until we establish a hard fast rule for 1st Rfsl.?

Sounds good. I think I have a couple more pieces out in the garage. If you're interested, I'll poke around.

Go poking.
