Christos and I have been talking about a deal to trade some BEM for some briar. I'm filling a legal size flat rate envelope with three 6.25 x 9.25 x 3/4 pieces of BEM and some filler, and Christos is sending me some briar pen blanks.

Attached are four pics, the first is a good picture of the board that all three of these pieces came from. This was taken in good light with a decent camera... the other three are pretty terrible pics, but they are the individual pieces cut.

I just shipped off your BEM today. When I spoke to USPS yesterday, I thought they told me that it was a 20 lb limit, but when I went by to mail it today, they said it was only a 4 lb limit. I had to take out most of the filler material, but all of the BEM and a really nice big leaf maple burl pen blank fit in under the 4 lb limit.

No problem Andrew the envelope is already fully stuffed. Thanks.

PS: as for the shipping details you should have asked me. I'm definitely an expert ;)

Hi Andrew,
I just mailed your box out. I could add a pen blank more. Hope you'll like briar burl.
Regards.
Christos.

Thanks Christos! I sent your box out on Monday so hopefully it doesn't take too long to get across the pond.

Delays vary from 3 days (yes 3 days from CA to Brussels...) to 10 calendar days. But generally no more than 6-7 calendar days both ways.

I'm glad it arrived! We were within an ounce of that darned weight limit, otherwise I would have packed more freebies in there!
