You can get in line but you aren't supposed to make actual offers unless he or I pass on our potential deal. By now you should know this. This is like the third time you've pulled something like this it's getting old.

This is the camera that you took all those awesome pics of your calls with? Yes I want it. Let me get some wood together. Do you like olive burl, black locust burl, and stuff like that? Would you also care for some spalted FBE that isn't burl? I'm sure I can open the lens and get the hair. I'll send it back too if you need it.

:greeting:

The olive is waxed because it is still a bit wet. Myrtle is dry.

My plan is to place the Mrytle in the box whole because it is almost square, not much curvature on top, then slice the Olive Burl in 2.5" widths and fillin around and on top. I think that way I can get it all in there.

By slim chance any room is left I will slice some of this up and fill in . . . .

:scare3: rick you had to get real close to that bear to get his hair in your camera :rofl::rofl: super duck

Kevin, I withdraw my offer. If you look at my post time and yours you will see they are very close. I began composing my offer when no one had responded. By the time I finished and posted, you were in front. I type slow and was eating lunch. No foul intended. I'm really looking for a more robust camera anyway. One that can survive the rigors of tree work.

I can understand that. I hope you find the robust camera you need. Good thing you didn't get this one then - isn't it funny how things always seem to work out for the best?

That will work Kevin. Bought a new camera like that one but bigger . Bigger zoom and the new one is Hd. Rick

FWIW, that myrtle burl looks a lot like big leaf maple burl... Gorgeous stuff either way!
