Yours was crammed in my mail box today, too. Thank you for all these tidbits and samples! I'm going to be on Hobbit House for a while now, trying to identify them. The Amboyna Burl and Koa are all I hoped for. Thank you, Roy!

Roy

Sorry Canny Spell :fool3::biggrin:

I thought the Brazilian Cherry might be Wenge or Iroko. And the long stick on the right baffles me as a maple, but okay.
Thanks for the names; I'll mark them for reference. Love them all!

Received your FBE today, Kevin, and you are quite a Packer! I pulled some out and couldn't get it back in there flat. You outdid yourself... this is some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever seen. It's wet, but I'll buy some Anchorseal and get it coated. I feel much in your debt. Thank you!

Glad you like it. All the ends should have been sealed!??

It's much better to turn wet.

Is it? I can't feel anything on it; if it is, it's so clear I can't tell. I love it anyway. You even cut me a 3x6x1/2! You sweetheart, you! All in the last month after discovering Woodbarter.com, I've gone from turning only one or two species to a Wealthy Woman In Wood! I just feel so lucky.

Maybe he did, Roy. I thought I was a Superior Packer, but Kevin outdoes me in spades. He was really generous with this box.

Airspace is for aircraft like planes and helicopters - not for wood. :yipee::yipee::yipee:

:cray: I feel the love Barb.

:praising: Seriously, thank you Barb I'm having a blast here myself but when I see people like you (and most all the members) who genuinely appreciate this humble place I just want to send you a big hug back. I hope you are so successful here that your local municipality has to write you ticket to get all the excess wood off your front lawn because you ran out of room in the house, the garage, the attic, on the roof, in the vehicles, in the chimney . . .
