I am a sculptor that sells off some wood every year, If you are interested let me know,, My minimum order is a 15x15x5 usps flate rate box full (no small pieces please. Prices are $20 brd ft dry $17 seasoned not dry. Also have slabs and gunstock blanks

yes ,it would be nice in calls! I think a 15x15x5 in piece in a usps box is 132 for the burl and 14.99 for the shipping (no weight limit)

Unless something has recently changed the large flat rate boxes are 12x12x5.5.

as a general rule 24" is the smallest size.. a 24' crotch 3ft tall would work if that is something you may have?

Yes definitely. I don't have one right now but next time I harvest a load I'll tag some for you to look at. I'll go hunt some pictures of some I have opened up so you can see how pretty they are. Reds and sometimes with golds, yellows, and other colors, lots of crotchy patterns (of course), almost always curly, and often some small burls. All of this at once. And of course sometimes light to heavy spalting.

You carved that!?! WOW, amazing talent!!

This burl is incredible. It would be a shame to chop into small turning blanks. Any chance you have small scraps and cut offs that would be sutiable for pen blanks(3/4"x3/4"x5"). I'd be interested in a small or medium FRB of scraps if you have em. I couldnt bring myself to cut the larger blanks up so I'll have to pass on those.

They were ( sold) wet but all my wood has been down for 8 to 10 yrs.

All pieces wet are waxed and measured and most of those are standard 15x15 by however deep a cut I can get..


I just cut up 4 pallets and should have some dry in 1 month if your interested.

the price wet is 17brdft and dry 20brdft
