I received a few copper bangle cores today from my first machining run. These are made from electrical grade, seamless copper tubing which is 99.99% pure copper (C101 ETP copper). These are 2.55" ID and accept a wood bangle that is 0.66" wide. I have a tutorial that will describe how to make unique metal core bangles for gifts or craft fairs.

As copper is a bit pricey, I am asking $38 for a bangle set which includes shipping. I have 4 sets up for sale. Thanks for looking! BG:drinks:

I agree with Joe, like the copper. I am in flight on my first stainless and it is going well so far. May have to look in to copper for the next order, although I think I may want to consider some size 9 .280 ID.

After much wait, and a little redesign effort. I have copper bangle cores in stock. The new cores are about 45% lighter than my previous design (but look identical). I have also expanded to carry size 8 and 8.5. These mid-width cores are priced on my website at $30.00, and with the Promo code "Wood Barter", save an additional 5% for June.

(Size 7.5s are coming in a few weeks.)

Thanks for looking!

Eric

Eric thanks for the cores and blank you sent. Very nice. The smallest size you sent was too big for my Olive Oyl's wrist though - do you have a smaller size?

Don't worry those two will not go to waste we have 3 daughters and sisters moms niece's etc. I may end up as one of your best customers. Christmas, birthdays, mom's days, get-out-of-doghouse gifts . . . . .

Kevin, I believe I sent you a size 8 and 8.5. I have a size 7.5 in the works and should be about 2 to 3 weeks. Do you think that will still be too small? I have material and the ability to make a size 7, but each size costs me tooling charges at the CNC shop, and I am not positive that there are too many size 7 woman out there... My wife is 5'-5" 125lbs and she is a 7.5 (and lets me know every day that I still haven't made her a bangle that fits well :scare3::scare3:):gigglesign:

I think you meant to say too "big". The one she tried on barely stayed on her wrist but she said it would definitely come off with any sudden movement. We'll try the 7.5 when it comes out and see. I could always build up some sort of lining inside the bangle. I remember when we were in HS she had to wrap yarn around my ring to wear it. :mocking:
