Here's what I'd like to send you. It's a bit much but I'm feeling generous. If it's too much you've got two options: send some back, or send me some xtra curly. HAAH! It's all end waxed, and then wrapped individually in shrink wrap. Call me by 2pm and I'll get it out tomorrow.
all burly/curly blackjack except the last one.

All of this wood is from my farm.

These were all photographed in bright sun, so some look better than others. I promise that they will all be striking when finished. Jimmy

WOW!!!! Thats a very generous trade offer. You dont need to send that much but I'll gladly accept!!!! I tell ya what, I'm gonna chop your board to fit in a large flat rate game box. That gives the longest length of the flat rates (nearly 24") but the board you selected is only going to fill about a third of the box. I'm going to go through my stack again and pick out some more of the lightest colored stuff with good curl and make sure your box comes full!! Thanks so much!! I love Wood Barter!!

Okay Dennis now that y'all are done let's do the same. I have filled a game box full of stuff for you - you can do the same after you chop mine down to fit. But I understand if you don't have enough to fill the rest no big I'm just happy to get the board I selected.

If you have another board or two that is close to the color of the one I picked you could use it/those even if they aren't as curly because the project I'm using Maple for will have some places not easily seen, and the curliest stuff (I have a bunch of real curly maple already just not quite enough) will be used in the front and sides of the drawers etc.

Okay, I have both of you guys all packed up and ready to ship. You guys got the nicest stuff out of my pile!! Both of you are getting a large flat rate game box stuffed as full as I can get em. I lettered all the boards. The ones labeled letter "A" are from the same board, "B" from the same board, etc. The boards you guys selected are the ones labeld "A".

Kevin, I need your shipping info. All I have for you is a P.O. Box. If you happen to see this in the next half hour or so, I can get these to the P.O. before I go to bed today. Also, while going through my pile I found a board that had quite a bit more curl than the one I originally showed you so I tossed it in your box as well since you originally requested the curliest I had.

I hope you guys are happy with your boxes. If for some reason your not, let me know and I'll send more on my dime. Cant wait to get my packages. Oooooooooo a mystery box from Kevin!!!!:yipee:
 
Can you post or email me as photo of the center board (the widest one) in your photo? I would also need dimensions and price, including shipping to area code 45135. I live about an hour from Grove City so there is a chance I could pick it up. I would also be interested in any other highly figured wood you may have for sale. Thank you!

I can do that tomorrow. At the hospital with the wife and new baby right now.

If I remember correctly, that one isnt figured throughout but I'll get pics and dimensions for you and you can decide. Is there a size your looking for specifically?

Do you have anything to trade or do you prefer to buy?

What town are you in?

The only other woods I have that are figured are the turning stock that I have purchased or traded for here and I'm not willing to part with any of it, in fact, I'm trying to aquire more!!!

In the mean time, jump up to the introduction forum and introduce yourself. Thats one of the rules before you can make a deal here. I dont wanna be the one that helps you get in trouble right out of the gate, lol!!!

You can send me photos of any pieces that are highly figured....they don't have to be the board I mentioned in my first post. Thanks for telling me to introduce myself. I hope I did it correctly. Heres a couple pics of the board you asked about. It has some interesting figure but its not throughout. Dimensions are 12" X 63 7/8" X 7/8". As you can see, there are some defects but theres a lot of usable material there.

This one, I'll ask $15 plus shipping. I'm not sure what the shipping cost will be but if you dont mind it being chopped into 23 7/8" lengths, I can stuff it in a flat rate box for about $16.

If you want pics of other boards, I can see if theres anything out there thats figured throughout.

I'll take it and you can cut it to fit into the 23 7/8" lengths. About how long is the original board? How do you want me to pay you? I can do PayPal if you can. Thanks for the prompt reply with photos. :hi2:
