**ENDED**DIFFERENT BLANKS FOR TRADES..

Looking for wood to stabilize mainly. Needs to be 1 1/2 or thicker at least 2 inchs long.

Bunch of pen blanks stabilized by me. Some Rhino plastic blanks a green corn cob bland and two other round blank's. Buckeye burl on top, left side is box elder burl. Right side is big leaf maple burl and spalted.

Three stabilized bluish box elder burl. 1 x 1 x 6 5/8. yellow heart 7/8 x 7/8 x 5 1/4. zebra wood 7/8 x 7/8 x 5 x 3/4. And nice claro walnut blanks thrown in.

Domestic woods great stuff. Lacy sycamore, crotch cherry, osage, yew and others.

No it's not it's here.:yipee: . going to stabilize some more of that Sycamore lots of splalting. If you are a good boy. I will turn a pretty call out of it. Rick
 
So is each pic a specific lot or are we to pic and choose?

What are the species in pic 3, the first of the pen blank pics? I know the top is Buckeye but what is the spalted species and the burls to the left of them?

Buckeye burl on top, left side is box elder burl. Right side is big leaf maple burl and spalted.

What ever works in a trade just kinda put things uplike that. I can fill a mediam or large priority box for a trade. Rick

I'm definately interested in the box elder burl but would be interested in the buckeye as well or even the whole pic if I can find enough stuff to interest you. Problem is, most everything I have in the size you listed is sound and dosnt need stabelizing. I do have a ton of pen blanks that need stabelizing if your interested in pen blanks. I'll go down to the shop tomorrow and see what I can dig up.

Ive checked my stash and I dont think I really have anything you would be interested in so I guess I'll have to pass for now.

If you decide to sell any of these, shoot me a price on the BEB.

They are definately worth something, I just dont have anything to trade for them. Everything I have that is cool and interesting is stuff I have purchased from guys here so its not fair to trade that stuff off when I have purchased it at such great prices. If you dont get any trade offers on them and decide to sell them, I am definately interested.
 
Are you trying to trade as a lot or individual blanks? I can take them all off your hands depending on what you need in trade. I am guessing you don't want any pen blanks based on thread I just read.

I have some nice Cherry burl I just started turning I could cut you out some pieces if you give me a size or I could send you a good size burl cap, there agian if you have a size in mind let me know.

Every thing is available except the box elder burl pen blanks. Bassblaster wants them. I get with later today. moved Daughter last night she is on her way to texas to become a teacher and start her new life. I like blanks 1 x 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 inchs or better for my callmaking. Thank you. Rick
 
Bearman, if you can make a trade deal for the whole lot, by all means, go for it!! You'll post more in the future or something else I just have to have and we'll strike a deal.

I did do a bit of milling yesterday and have several walnut pepper mill blanks with heart and sap wood. Very green, tree was cut Tuesday and milled yesterday. Nothing spectacular in figure though, just run of the mill walnut. I also have the same in 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 12. I also have a beautiful ambrosia maple log that I'm trying to figure out how to get on the band saw. Its as big as my saw. I'm pretty sure Dave allready gave everyone thier fill of ambrosia though. I can post pics of those if thats something your interested in. I also have two more small chunks of the same walnut that I have yet to mill so it could be cut into whatever you or someone else wanted.

Back now been busy with family. Helped my Daughter load up the uhaul She arrived in Killeen Texas last night. Glad it arrived. Bassblaster we can trade for walnut that is fine.Rick

What would you like to see pics of? I have 3 X 3 X 12 and 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 X 12 or if you have another size preferance I can cut them. I have a couple chunks that I have yet to mill. These are very green. Fresh cut and end sealed with parrafin.

Just put what you are able to get in a large priority and i'll load you up with all the blanks that are left and others i have. Rick:thanx:
