Mike, I realize that you not a computer pro, but those HUGE images you posted make it hard to see what the wood looks like.

What kind of graphics tools do you have? What operating system do you use. Most come with some kind of graphics tool and those ALL have image size reduction capabilities so as to avoid this problem.

Yeah, I'm interested in the curly cherry. How much blood wood are you looking for? A particular project in mind?

I use bloodwood all the time in Judy's baskets, see introduction pictures. Don't use a whole lot just can't
find good red stock.Do you have any other good red wood that holds its color? Sorry about the pics. Did the same thing as I did in the introduction and they worked. Just reduced the quality on the desktop and put them in.

Edit: images removed by Kevin

much better. thanks. Yes, I'd like to get some of that.

The bloodwood I have is the only red wood I have that will hold its color at all. Padauk just turns brown and redheart just turns tan.

Do any of the 7 or so pieces I have listed look like they would do the job for you?

Paul

I have a few small pieces of bloodwood. One that I found right away is two pieces edge-glued that's 5.5" x 8 7/8". You can't even see the glueline I almost didn't notice it except for a slight grain difference. But it's 7/8" thick.

I didn't know how much you were trying to put together so i thought I'd mention it.
