Not really an auction site here, so you need to name a price to find out how much interest there is...... otherwise you will simply have people shamelessly (without any commitment)) gushing over it:wink:
Thank you for the reminder. I guess i'll have to do that..i just wanted to see if there was intrest before hacking it up :)

Hi Rob,
I was really planning on blanking it up. i'm going to sleep on this and get to it in the morning as to how I will cut it & list some prices.
Thanks Greg! ttys

I think there is plenty of interest! I would love some 1.5 stock... just waiting for sticker shock!

I showed Michele the pic...she loves it....still...she said no way. :)

How much do you need to get for the burl piece?
Good morning. To answer your question, To keep it whole I would need to get $700 Ill try to edit my original post to say that but I wanted to answer you first. Treecycle :) btw.. I don't know if I could ship it in one piece and guarantee it stays that way but we will X that bridge if we get to it. :)
Thanks very much for supporting me..it made me feel good reading all the comments. Cheers!

Great looking wood! I may also be interested in some blocks depending on price :good2:....If Greg doesn't snag the whole board :sarcastic:

Is the 700 Canadian or us dollars? Is shipping included in the 700?
Hi Greg, sorry , im in and out so I cant always answer questions right away and sometimes may take a day. After about 3pm I shut er down.
I should have clarified that
The $700 would be in US dollars. Shipping would not be included in that but I will check on the cost after I send this response to you.
Im sure we can work something out :) its a 8ft board.. ill check on their dimensions & prices now.

23.102 lbs weighed on a Setra ct-140

I got the package today!! I was supper pissed at first because my post man seems to think it is cool to leave my packages in a snow bank at the end if my driveway. (My driveway us 300+ feet long and you can't see the house from the road because of trees) This is the third one in the last week!!!! Once I got it open I was better but them a-holes will be getting a piece of my mind tomorrow!!!!

Thanks for the awesome wood Ron! Now to figure out how I am gonna use it.

WHEW! Thank goodness :) yeah, prob not a good thing to be leaving in snow! was the wrapping wet all the way through Greg?

I am glad you are happy :) it makes me happy too!

The package was a little wet but no damage to the wood from what I can tell. I opened it last night to show it off to the family and let it air out. Only thing I noticed is almost all of the bigger bark inclusions are loose and falling out. Not sure if it was that way on your end or if it happened during transit. It is a small bummer they are loose. Sometimes they can be used decoratively and stabilized but when buying burls you need to expect the worst and bark inclusions are part of the deal.

Greg, I never even gave it a thought. Nothing was loose or falling out on my end. With hindsight being what it is, I could have probably used a bubble wrap to be sure. is it worth sending me pictures?
My wife spent 40 mins wrapping it..keeping it tight, nothing was moving around..it was like a brick.
Bummer here too.. I was aiming for 100% satisfaction :(
Regards, Ron.

I agree it was very well packaged. It may have been a result of freeze, thaw, freeze, snowbank LOL! at least that is gonna be my story when I go to the post office this afternoon. As far as you and I go I am all good no worries. It is inherent with burls that bark inclusions will be there and sometimes they fall out no biggie. They will get tossed and life will go on.
