crappy pic (sorry) beautiful wood!!! There's more in it than I had expected. Thank you for this package of dreamcicles!! When I make some stuff from them , I'll be sure to let you all in on the process and finished dreamcicle.

I got box #4 on friday and didn't even realize it until this morning. There was a substitute mail carrier and they put the box by the only door of the house that we never use. :wacko1: Either way it is loaded full of some really nice material. I can't wait to chuck a piece up and see how it turns. I have never worked with Koa before so I am excited. :good:

A small bowl of Kalai's beautiful Hawaiian Koa wood, 5" diameter. It is just oiled with Teak oil, and when dry I'll buff and wax it.

Hi everyone, I am glad you all like the wood that you got, and Barb, that is some nice looking stuff there, I like the bowls a lot, it looks like you spend more time than me in the shop :lol:
I just wish I had more time to spend here on this site. Or if I had some high speed internet then I could surf faster but on dial up it is sooooooo slow.

The PO tried to deliver your blanks last Thursday. You must be cutting more Koa to send me and simply cannot get away.

I am thinking this won't fit in a flat rate box :rofl2:
Yes I have been a bit too busy but the logs are not not going to mill themselves so now I have to get busy milling, :yipee:
I have your package packed but I did not get to send it before I went up on the mountain, I got back late last night so I will be mailing it on Monday, I know you will like it, just remember don't over dose on it, just use enough to get your fix, this is the good stuff.

That is one nice pile of wood. I take it you don't have any pine for the Cat in that pile? I am curious as to what you use to seal the ends of those logs.
