My intent is to put up modest-sized pieces of exotics for trade --- generally no more than 1BF. These should be good for small craft projects like bowls, pens, very small boxes, etc. I'm staying small 'cause I don't want to spend much on postage and 'cause I hate wrapping up stuff to ship. All of my wood is dry --- most of it has been in my garage for many years, the most recent for 2 or 3 years. For some of these I have bigger pieces but I don't have enough of any of them to make anything big. I also have different form factors on some of them (bowl blank / plank / turning stick / etc)

I'm looking to get woods that I don't have, or don't have much of, as shown in the "my samples" sections of my site, but I don't expect anybody to look at all 500+ pages to see what that might be so just let me know what you have (taking a look at the corresponding page on my site would be helpful 'cause you'd probably get a clue that if I have a lot of my own pics of the wood you want to trade, I'm less likely to want to trade for it). I'm fine on getting domestics if they are ones that I have very little of. Burls and crotches are of particular interest and I strongly prefer DRY wood. I don't have much concern about size/shape since I mainly just want to get more woods to take pics of for my web site and if there's some that I can use in my bowls, well that's a plus.

For each of the woods I put up for barter, you can see MANY more pics on my site (first link in my signature)

Although these are all listed for barter, I'll consider cash offers (but barter is preferred)

Here's what I've put up so far:

You have a lot of cool woods there I would be interested in, But I don't see much on your site that you don't already have. How about Willow Acacia? Sweet Acacia? Palo Verde? African Sumac, and maybe some others that grow around here which might interest you.....

Barry, yeah let's see what we can work out. My computer is flakey right now and I'll have it in the shop after Xmas so I'm putting everything off til after the new year. Also, I'm in the process of getting electronic data on all my stock so I'll have a fair amount of stuff that you don't see so far.
