**ENDED** Pepper Mill Blanks: SOLD OUT

Edit. thanks to member wwpa445 for pointing out that my pricing here was not a discount for members which I like to give. I didn't crunch the numbers correctly. I have about one third of these mills left, but the pricing is $95 per box which includes shipping, which works out to $10 per blank.

I'm boxing these up in lengths of 23 7/8" long, four in a box. Some boxes may contain combinations of 12" blanks and 24", but the bottom line is you'll end up with eight flame boxelder pepper mill blanks for only $10 a blank (of the $95 - $15 of it is shipping).

For those that think only blanks with "all red" look good, I picked out the "worst" or the lot and chucked it up. This is just a quick rough turn, 2 minute sanding with 150, and brushed on some spirits. Would not a bad looking pepper mill would it?

For those who want a box please don't ask for specific blanks in the picture. I don't have time for it and all my wood is guaranteed anyway. If you don't like it for any reason I'll give you a free replacement or a full refund.

I usually have enough but after our drought ended last year the rains came and came and came. Always just as it was about to get dry enough to get back in for a harvest the Rainmaker would do his dance. Now it's going to start raining again tomorrow and I needed to get another load but looks like no way I will be able to.

But I might have time tomorrow to blast in & out for a couple of trees if the rains hold off long enough.

I have a little big man it's 6 x 6 x 17 it's a nice piece. I would like to keep this myself but I ain't got time to turn it, it needs to be turned while still wet anyway. It would be better off in Florida where a good turning man can give it the attention it needs.

Then there's this big honkin' cant that measures 12" x 8.5" x 40". But I don't know if you'd want any wood from it - it's got some of those funny looking black lines in it.

Don't let those tiny holes scare you this thing weighs 130 pounds. It's solid except for a few inches on that end but not the whole end most of it is solid. I have will-call orders 100% of the time for big stuff like this. I wasn't gonna show you this for that reason, but if you want me to get you a nice hunk out of her I might be coaxed. But I gotta tell ya these kinds of pieces are not easy to come by. I forgot to get end grain shots this baby is full of red too. Figure too of course. All my girls have nice figures.

Not yet - but I do have two kits so I intend to :)

Edit: Hmmm, just looked at who the reply was to and just figured that I'm probably not the Ken you were referring to. My answer still stands, but is moot :)

I do. I have turned 3 to date and loved turning them. I have done 2 in walnut and one in olive wood.

When you get some new stock I would love 4 peppermill blank, you can fill the rest of the box with bottle stopper blanks. Let me know when you get some more.
