Many years air-dried and the outside was rotted to almost powder so I sanded it off. Length 6 3/4" - 8 1/2". 3 1/2" round plus. 6.2 lbs. $68 plus shipping CONUS only. Including pictures of a pen made with the wood to give an idea of the inside of this piece.

That looks somewhat like a piece of katalox I got from paolo. (Good stuff)

I do not have any Katalox to compare it to but it is readily available here in the conus, now I can't even find a pen blank of Tamarind heartwood for sale online. Maybe I'm not searching in the right places?

Looks like tamarind to me. I have some heart and sap. Nice piece.
