This is a very dry block of spalted box elder (sorry no flame unless it's hidden inside). I cut this 4 or 5 years ago from the log and treated end grain with AS2. I've turned a lot of this and sold bowls at craft shows. It's not punky but I usually give it a good liberal wipe of wood hardener before the final sanding and finish. I don't know what to charge for this, so lets say $15 plus shipping cost (make an offer). Or trade me something I don't have.
Also, it is far from square. I ruff these out with my chain saw before sealing and storing them in the top of the barn for a few years.
