**ENDED**Spalted soft maple for trade

Just recieved a box packed with lots of great wood! Made my day:good::good2::good2:. I'll get some picks up soon. Mike, thanks a bunch. I'll try and get your pen turned and sent in around a week. Homework is currently keeping me out of the shop :sad:, but school does come first. Again, Thanks.

David, while milling your chunk of spalted maple today, my chainsaw went down. Since I expect it to be down fora few days at least, I went ahead and finished the old fashioned way... with an axe and a wedge. In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted to send you a pic for you to approve before I shipped it to you. 3 sides are somewhat rough hewn, the rest are chainsaw finish. The log it came from was still green, so I sealed the whole chunk in paraffin as soon as I took the pic. Measurements are 12" x 11.5" x 5.5 "

If this meets your approval, give me a :good2: and I'll get it in the mail tomorrow am.

The walnut looks good, no problem there:good2::good2:

I'm thinkin 2 sticks 12" inches long and 6" dia" would fit in a LFRB nicely (if you flatten the sides a bit) I have a pretty good variety of flat stock and thin stock. If you use a particular thickness, let me know and I will mill it to that thickness for you, and fill up a LFRB in return. Thanks, Barry

Barry, I have your package all ready to go, was going to mail it today along with David's, but ran into trouble with my saw and was unable to get it to post office in time. will get it out tomorrow am for sure
