Tineo 5 X 5 X 24". These are fine blanks. These were cut so most every part of the blank has stripe in it. Jimmythewoodworker has dibs on this set. Choose by letter. $69 each plus freight. If I cut these directly in half they will ship large flat rate but they must ship via UPS the way they are. Processed green and end sealed with Anchorseal.

I think I'm gonna go for A & B BUT I will need to slice them in 8" lengths so chopping in half won't work.

Could you give me a shipping cost. BTW FedEx is typically cheaper than UPS on larger/heavier items.

I'll throw in my 2 cents. Tineo (aka Indian Apple) is quite unstable during the drying process. There is significant shrinkage thus a 1st turned piece will need tender loving care during drying then turned a second time. Obviously this info is for lathe work.

Be sure to keep the wood sealed or protected from the very low humidity. See Jimmy's post. We seal all blanks with Anchorseal and they are fine as long as you have them sealed. Once rough turned you should reseal the blanks and allow to dry well. Then finish turn to final shape.
