Ycb will turn out. Not deep at all

What're you looking for in trade, Tony? Depending on what you're looking for, I may see about trying to come up with something - nice pieces.

If you don't come up with something with Matt I could give you some trade options. Anything specific you are looking for?

Nothing in particular just thought I would see if somebody had something they want to get rid of for these

I'll do some digging around later, Tony, and see what I might be able to come up with for you to consider.

Tony, I haven't gone and done any digging yet, but would you be interested in some woods from the rosewood family in trade, or at least as part of the trade? I'm planning to dig out the cocobolo, rosewood, tulipwood, kingwood, etc. that I've got and offer it for sale or trade - I've noticed that even with wearing a respirator and washing up after working with the true rosewoods that I'm starting to have a slight reaction to them. So, sadly, it's all gotta go before I start having a worse reaction to working with them.

Sounds good to me I use them all the time (or when I can get some ) lol

Tony, I have dug through my bins and shelves and here's all the true rosewoods I've got. There are some pieces in here that I really really wanted to turn myself, but I dare not now. I'd love to keep a few of the pieces, just to have them for my stash/collection, but know that if I kept them, I'd be too tempted to turn them.

As it turns out, I had more of the rosewoods than I thought, lol. Let me know if this works for a trade for the above blanks or if I need to sweeten the pot - if I need to sweeten the pot, you won't hurt my feelings by telling me so. I imagine that I'd have to ship in a MFRB, if you're game for these pieces.

Pic 1: Cocobolo - various pieces and sizes and colors. The block on the left is approx. 2 1/4" square by 5 or 5 1/2" long - it still has some remnants of the black wax that was on it. Next to that are two pieces 1" square x 12". The next five pieces all contain sapwood of varying degree - from a little to a lot. Some of the sapwood mix one have some rough edge from chainsaw cut or an angle cut on one corner, but would turn out and make some real nice pens.

From left to right:
3 pieces Kingwood. The center piece is half sapwood w/ worm trails in the sapwood and is about 1" square - the other two pieces are a little larger.
2 pieces Rosewood - either Brazilian or Honduran, I'm not sure
2 pieces Tulipwood - the smaller piece is 3/4" square. Both pieces are about 12" long (some pink wax on these - at least on the larger piece)
5 pieces Indian Rosewood from Florida
2 pieces African Blackwood

Indian Rosewood pieces. The sapwood on these pieces has worm holes with what I'm assuming is some spalting going on in them - the block these were cut from was wrapped in plastic for 5 or 6 weeks after it was cut and before I got it and unwrapped it. Two pics of these pieces so you can check out how much heart/sapwood there is in each piece.
The three small slabs/boards on the right are 5/8" to 7/8" thick and could still yield pen and hairstick blanks, even if you cut off and discard the sapwood. The other piece is, I think, about 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" square.
