I was kind of bummed out that @JR Custom Calls didn't win the auction because he actually needs to wood for a big order he has, but the good news is I need another pot call because I don't have one made with amboyna. I approached Jon about this not vice versa and he happily agreed.


Jon make these three calls and then let me have the one that you consider the be the least pretty (like any will be). You need to keep the best looking 2 because you're selling them.

I will post some striker handle material later what do you want more amboyna and what size blanks? What species do you want for the actual striker rods?

BTW there are all 1.25 to 1.5 thick -- the double block is 4.25 x 9" and the single is over 4" square.

The only request I have is for you to put your concave profile on mine everything else is your decision soundboard etc.
 
Sounds like a deal to me. send what you want for striker material. I use 1x4 but can get by with as small as 7/8x4. Matching, non matching, whatever

I want my handle from that piece of sappy DIW burl. I imagine some other poeces will fall in the box too when I get gome from the dentist. Still in the waiting room might not get it mailed til tomorrow.

Do you need any HRB?

Yes I do need some hrb. Thank you so much my best friend in the world besides Henry. I don't have any hrb and never turned any. You are to kind thanks again my dearest favorite Texan

No thanks to hrb. It gives me respiratory issues.

DIW Burl may work for striker... Kinda heavy but I can probably make it work.

What species do you like best for strikers. I only wanted the DIW for the handle.

I can't find the right levers anymore my shrink is making me watch the Wizard of Oz over and over and over and I am getting a little confused . . . . . . .

It was just a kind hearted suggestion lol. Just hope I don't take as long to get these done. Just now finishing up trade calls for Cliff me Allan after a couple months. And gotta get a call or three made up for the contest on here. Might need to utilize some vacation time soon.
