Man it does look like you have them fitting good. I really appreciate this. My wife is gonna absolutely love it!

@kazuma78 Just to let you know I haven't forgot you. I got most of the rough shaping done the other night and plan to finish the rough shaping tonight. right now it is tack glued together in 4 bigger pieces. then I will pop it all apart and radius the edges and finish sand each piece before final assembly. I will also wood burn the spots into the head. It is kind of like making 50 pieces of jewelry that all have to fit together. :hi:

Wow!!! That looks fantastic! She is absolutely going to love it! Sorry the pieces were so small. Haha I didn't know I should make them bigger. Thank you for the trade and all the hard work!

Just another in process picture to show how the shaping and polishing is going on this turtle. This summer has been crazy but still plugging away on it.

Will you be able to see the backing board once it's mounted?

Looks awesome! Is it on a backing or do I need to put it on one? I have plenty of material if that's the case. I'll pm you.

It is on a 1/8" backing board with a black edge. (thus the black sharpie) It can be mounted directly on the wall or is till thin enough to be mounted on a kick butt board. It was a very special project and really helped me out more than I can tell you. Thank You for the honor of finishing this for you. I am sorry it took so long but I hope your wife and you really do enjoy it and do something with it to make it special to both of you.

I know Lynne will absolutely love it! I seriously can't wait to get it and hang it up for her!

Danny, that is super nice! The way you lined up the grain and used pieces that match what it looks like in nature is really special! Josh's wife will be thrilled!!!! Tony
