I entered into a trade with Chuck ( @windyridgebowman) a short time back. The trade consisted of Chuck sending me some of that old growth redwood he acquired in exchange for me making him a bowl out of a piece of the redwood. I posed it's own difficulties but this is the bowl I have made for him. I will also be sending him a couple of deer grunts and pens. I enjoyed turning the redwood and hope to get some more in the future. The bowl is about 8.5 wide and 4.5 tall. Im still working on the finish but was so excited about how it is turning out I just had to post it. The bowl is sporting about 80-90 years of growth rings . Chuck, thanks for the wood and I will let you know when everything is headed your way.
