I received this bog oak wood from Ukraine. Do not have original certificate. Size is a bit over 3/4 x 3/4 x 5"
I made a picture using just my phone(it is not showing it's beauty). Blanks were not wetted. on one of the pictures I put a pen made of one of such a blank. it is only 9 on the picture but if there is an interest - I have more. I also have some bigger sizes.
I am interested in trade these for burl wood, preferably some high end burls. If there is an interest we can work out a trade.
I also have a concern in regards whether me as very fresh member is allowed to post here. If I'm not allowed, than please remove this thread. Understanding that my credibility is not established - I will send my end first. BOW1-1.webp BOW1.webp
 
Stepan, those look nice and I may be interested in a trade. What would you place as a rough value on the blanks? The only bog oak I've ever had - a couple pen blanks - was given to me, so I've never priced any out.

Matt, on ebay certified blanks are around $9-10, not certified around $6-8(depending on sellers greediness). I'd say $6 per blank or so. But I'm talking just about "rough value" for trade equation as you described.
 
Thanks, Stepan. Right after I asked the question, I started looking around and found the same numbers you've mentioned. I'm interested in some and I'll check on what I have and see about coming up with something for your consideration in the next day or two. Just want to check to make sure - you're looking for pen blanks for you, correct? Thanks!
