Hi this is my first for sale post. I have many old apple trees where I love and have some logs for sale. I can get them custom cut for you or you can just buy the log if you want to save money. I also sell apple wood burls which are very pretty. Each log is 10 t0 18" on the small side and 15" to 22" on long side. I live in Maryland so anywhere near here I can deliver. I can part our board feet or you can buy the whole log. Thanks! image.jpg image.jpg

Looks like you've got the lion's share of nice apple wood! I saw you post a pic of a pipe that you made from some... I wouldn't mind trying my hand at that. Do you have any pictures of milled lumber? Any idea of how much 3-4 (whatever will fit in a padded flat-rate envelope) nicely colored pieces around 2 x 2.5 x 3ish? Do you have a way to seal the wood... I know fruit woods crack pretty awful!

Those logs are for table slabs an such. But I can make blanks and seal them for you. Or cut some already seasoned wood. And here are the burls image.jpg image.jpg

If you end up cutting some blanks, do you have any idea how much two 2.5 x 2.5 x 6 would run me? Maybe one straight grain and one burl?

Austin - You need to post some pics of the specific wood you are selling. I understand you have a lot and can custom cut (Which is cool) but the rules state that you have to show the specific pieces for sale. I would suggest that you cut a few blanks to show the quality of the wood and then take requests. The burl will sell a lot faster in people know what it looks like on the inside. Split that baby open and snap some pics.

I need to move it seems! I think my entire apple stockpile is smaller than that load. I need to go get some apple! Very nice wood you have there.

I might be interested in some of the burl, dependent on price and moisture content. Would be looking for some pieces in the 1" x 1.75" x 5.5" range or longer.

Perhaps a piece or two 1.125" x 7" x 7" (burl or plain) also.

Thanks,

-jason

I'm confused. Do we now have 2 Austin's that are both from Maryland on this forum? Not sure. Gary

Austin, I also would be interested in some burl game call blanks, depending on price, looks, etc.. 1.5" sq. x 6,7,8 " long.
Can't wait to see some cut burl pictures and the grain that is hiding in them. Thanks for posting.

It looks like there might be some nice color hidden in there... I bet it looks great when sanded and hit with a finish! It looks like you've got quite a few people interested in picking up some of your fine apple wood. If you cut it up into standard sized blanks and post some prices, I bet you'd get plenty of offers. I'm still interested in some 2.5 x 2.5 x 6 burl and/or non-burl.
