Hey Marc, I am continually making more of these blanks. Shoot me an offer, or a type of wood you like. I probably only have an SFRB amount I would sell right now, but will have lots more in a few weeks :wacko1:

Rip, sorry for the delay. It has been a busy week. For a random assortment, it would seem like $0.50/piece would be reasonable. Some are up to 1 1/2" thick. The osage has checked a little, and I haven't cut much ironwood lately. If your interested, I could pull a random grab and tell you how many will fit in a SFRB plus the species. I just added a few Mahoe to the pile tonight :wacko1: Thanks, Eric

Oh, I could stabilize them too (for a fee)... if you were interested.

After you are done with rip I would like to jump in on a frb once more is accumulated. No rush for me I've got plenty of projects for myself including plenty of honey do's. I have green backs to trade via PayPal or snail mail. Hit me with a pm once you have some extras not claimed.

Sounds good!...however can you leave out the osage orange? I just stock piled a bunch of it. Let me know how much for the sfrb and stabilizing and I'll send some paypal greenbacks your way...
Thanx!!

I don't have any idea what to do with the cutouts, but I could see making some cool pens from the outsides. The blue mahoe got me thinking of that. What are you doing with them? I'd need pieces that were at least 3/4 thick, preferably 5" long or close. Grain can be any direction. If you have a bunch you want rid of, put up a batch or make me an offer.

Arkie, you'd have to glue them together to get 5" length. The bangle cut-outs tend to be 2 1/2" diameter x 4/4 thick with a 1/4" hole through the center.

Hey Rip, I gathered up some primo cutouts tonight and made sure they would fit in a SFRB. Here they are; FBE, Manzanita, BAB, Camphor Burl, Wenge and Ziricote. The smokin' deal for these 6 is $3.00. They weigh 1.2 lbs so we'll round to 1 pound @ $8 for stabilization for a total of $11.00 + $6 shipping = $18... How does that sound?

Thanks, Eric

FYI, with the exception of Dave Bug, I think I am undercharging a tad. So going forward 8/4 cutouts will be $1/pc. I will carry these on my website under the 'Clearance Items' tab.

I am interested in some of the cutouts also. I have an idea in mind that these would be perfect for. I am interested in cut outs that are all the same type of wood too if that makes any difference. how many did you say you could get in a SFRB? I'm not in any rush, either so whenever you get a chance to check into it is fine by me.

Eric - I'm starting to see a few of those laying around my shop as well !
I have been staring at them while I sand CA finish wondering what I could possibly use them for, so I find this post amusing ! I also like the creativity of a lot of the responses. Thanks for letting me know about this forum. Its great !

Sounds good Rip (except the 'lots of OT':rotflmao3:). I will get these boxed up and sent out tomorrow. BTW, the FBE core looks really cool after stabizing, should be a nice little piece. If you make something neat from these, I would love to see a picture!
