Hello,
Looking to buy different types of burl wood slabs or full caps. Slabs need to be 2in thick. Looking for Maple, black ash, buckeye and highly figured box elder, might be interested in others, just let me know what you have. Would also be interested in burl cap cut offs also. Can cast some in return if you prefer to trade.
 
@KCW, I have plenty of box elder burl scraps that would be good for casting if you want to work out some kind of trade.
 
@Mike1950 usually has the eye candy maple and maybe some slabs.

Also @erik s has some crazy slabs of exotics...and bonus! He's in Connecticut too...

What size pieces do you have and what size blanks are you looking for when cast?
 
Red oak burl slab approximately 19 x26 .slightly over 2" thickness. does have some checking. And its dry

It poured rain all day so I just took a picture of 3 in the shop. 2" dry- they have areas with Eyes- curl swirl etc. Rule is 2 foot.

Sorry, thought the second one was box elder by the rounded caps. Did you have any highly figured box elder also.

I will try again- I will sell the BLM burl as whole slabs. Elder is rare for me- I will cut to specific size. Have some green in larger sizes that I may sell whole. What size do you want.

whats the price on the BLM slabs?For the elder Larger sizes whole would be great. Exactly what I'm looking for

Decent size chunk or slab would be good.What did you need casted?
