**ENDED**Your Burl scraps for my Casting

I am looking for some LFRB's of Burl Scraps for my "Shop Drop" blanks. Just about any burl with nice eyes or figure will do. I need it to be solid. Some bark is ok and can be cut off but if the bark if 2" thick all the way around it really cuts down on how much wood I can use.

I am looking for about 5 folks to trade with for now. Once I get them taken care of I will open it up to 5 more until I have what I am looking for on hand.

What I will offer will be to return would be to make and return to you using your wood a Shop Drop blank like the pics below using one of the options below. This is a minimum and if your box is super packed I will cast some more for you. These will be cast in Alumilite Urethane Resin.
1 x Lidded Box Blank 3.5"round x 3.5-4"T
or
2 x Game Call Blank 1.5x1.5x6.5 - each one can be cut into 3 Bottle Stopper Blanks
or
2 x Pot Call Blanks 4"round x 1"T
or
6 x Pen Blanks 7.8"x7/8"x5.25

For the Pen Blanks and the Game Call Blanks if the pieces are Bark free and larger enough I can leave them whole and just cast the live edge if you prefer but I cant clean the bark off to do it because it is too much of a PITA.

I am about to make a lidded box blank later today, I will post some pics of it when done.

I've got a whole bunch of Manzanita burl scrap you can have if you cover the shipping. Funny thing about my Manz, it has big 3" diameter holes in it!!:sarcastic: I have got some big termites in my shop:rotflmao3:

its not all i have i have a little more. i nibble whatever i can get out of my burls. if you want it its yours. you will be saving it from the incinerator. all cherry and maple burl
just pay the shipping

These are some pretty great lookin blanks hes makin wish i had some burls to trade LOL ,,Heres few pics turkey call i made from the blanks he is showing

I don't think I've got enough to fill a LFRB at this point, but I always save my live edges and burl scraps. I'll try to remember to give you a shout when I think I've got enough to make up a box.

Thanks Doc, I am open to whatever you have. It does not have to be a LFRB, those just make it easy.
