:wacko1::wacko1::wacko1::wacko1: I'm confused . :wacko3: Is anybody else confused or is it just me?

maybe he was supposed to have attached a picture or video and forgot.

Jason

I'm sure he just forgot to upload a link or pic. He'll fix his post later today after he gets through fixing people. :sarcastic:

.

Heck, I just figured he was wishing everybody a happy day

RE: enjoy updated

That is VERY cool!! I'm assuming this is your build? If so, how long did it take you.

Tim , I wish it was my build. It is a guy on youtube that I follow that inspired me in my bowl making. he uses hand tools for everything. Im not in his league yet :rofl2:

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing! I really love the 'sound effects' when he's tapping things in.

I saw the build on this a few days ago- I do not remember where. You have to be younger or in a helluva lot better shape then I but it is a cool lathe. :yipee::yipee:

That is awesome........ no nails, all tight fit joinery..... excellent..... Im inspired to build...... but not that lathe.lolol

I was perusing this thread after posting in another, and it reminded me of another video I had seen about a year ago. It's not foot powered, but this Moroccan woodturner uses a bow saw for power, and holds his turning tools between his toes. Watching this again, I just cant imagine how sharp that skew must be!

Hope this video uploads...

I've got an old treadle sewing machine chassis sitting in the scrap pile......... Maybe a non electric pen lathe on the horizon..........
