Here's a neat pack of pen blanks. There are 12 pieces of curly crotch Koa, 5 pieces of Kingwood and 3 pieces of black walnut crotch. All of these will make fantastic pens. I'll also throw in a few shorts of crotch Koa for free. Price is $40 and I'll pay the shipping cost to anywhere in the USA.

Update: The remainder of the crotch koa is on hold until another pending deal is concluded.
Second Update: These koa crotch blanks have been traded to @keepanionme

I've gotten several orders from Larry and have some of these. Very nice and they do make nice pens!

I will also be listing this on my Etsy store in the next day or so but wanted to give WB folks a shot at them first. Thanks for all the great comments.

What are the sizes ??
I could possibly use these but I need a minimum 13/16" square, or larger (using for segmented blanks)

Jerry,

I just measured these and all are in the .752 to .799 range. You need .82 inches. I'll be glad to cut blanks to your specs but I don't have more of the curly crotch Koa or Kingwood.

I have plenty rosewoods including Honduran, Nicaraguan, Guatemalan and East Indian and lots of Cocobolo. Also have curly Koa. All are still in board form and I can cut those any size up to one inch. I just cut and mailed Gabon ebony 1" blanks to @Eric Rorabaugh because he was having problems with blowing out the smaller blanks. Ebony can be brittle and it gets really hot when drilling.

Here is a photo of other species that I have.

Larry, if you're cutting then I'd prefer to have 7/8" square by a minimum of 5" long .......
Interested in Curly Koa, Honduran Rosewood (you have a picture of those?), and the Guatemalan Rosewood .......
What kind of price for those ? Figure probably 30 blanks total, 10 of each .......
Or depending on what the Honduran looks like, at least 10 each of the Koa and Guatemalan ......
Also remember, @ 7/8" 20+ blanks won't fit in a SFRB (maybe use an envelope?) so shipping will be more

Thanks. Here is a picture of Honduran Rosewood. It is expensive as you see. The $52 was for one bf. For 30 pieces plus shipping in the species you want, the total will be $65.00 and they will be at least ⅞" square by at least 5" long. They will ship in a Regional Rate Box A which costs $10.50 to your Nevada address and that is included in the price. So the net price to you is just over $2 per blank.

Am I correct to presume you have these on a semi-regular basis ??

Let's start with 10 Curly Koa & 10 Guatemalan Rosewood ......
As for the Guatemalan Rosewood, for what I'm using it for, I need pieces with as little sapwood as possible ......

I will hopefully be able to get the Honduran Rosewood in the near future. Also, if you get more of the Kingwood lemme know, especially if it's a rich "purpley" color.

Message me the total for the 20 blanks and your PayPal details and I'll send funds ASAP :good2:

I'll send you a PM with the details. Here are photos of the ones I just cut for you. There are also some shorts included for free.
The curl in the koa is better than the photos show. You'll be pleased. All meet or exceed your size requirements.

I was looking at another thread that shows some of your pens. Amazing.. In the future, I'll trade you wood for one if you want to.

I'll be making a post about my blanks in a little while
I'm willing to make trades but right now I don't have any turned segmented pens and am currently physically unable to turn any new ones
Unless you'd like other pens I already have turned/finished ....... We can discuss it later.
