Estate sale haul

I’ll snap a few pics when we unload, but I grabbed a quick pic of some rough-sawn curly Cherry slabs. I think there were 5 maybe? A couple were 6/4 and the others were 5/4. Looking forward to seeing once they are surfaced.

And yes, one of my partners (@RHR2360) truck is bright red. The same color as UW/Madison.

These “feather figure” Walnut boards came out of a “dirt floor garage” at the estate sale. They were overlooked by a bunch of people because they were in an obscure place behind a bunch of junk boards.

I washed and scrubbed them.

There’s 3 or 4 more that still need to be surfaced.

If you’re interested in a trade or selling any of the 6/4 stuff let me know as I may be interested assuming it’s solid and depending on the width. I’ve used similar pieces for turning platters and this appears to fairly wide.
