Hello All,
I got the FBE log section from Kevin several months ago, but it was seriously wet. I let it sit in the shop for a month or more before rough turning it, I left the sidewalls about 1/2" thick and placed it in a paper trash bag. It was weighed on day one and every 3 days afterwards, once the weight loss began slowing down (40days~) I put it back on the lathe and returned it. From 45# to 2# and a wall thickness of around 3/16. Overall height is about 15" including the top which I made from thorns from a Honey Locust Tree.
I made a quick trip through Photoshop to fix the hotspots from the lights and adjust the background lighting.
Enjoy....
Jim
