Feedback Needed By Everyone

One suggestion if there is still time to get it it there, I've noticed a trend of new folks jumping right in without completing the mandatory introduction post. Is it possible to set it up so that they can't create or respond to posts until after that has been completed? They could browse to their hearts content but HAVE to do the introduction to interact?

I just finished a convo with my tech about this. I tried to get this done before but I couldn't figure it out. I placed the latest guy into moderation and sent him an email. I will get back on this when we get back - taking the missus out for vittles - she's standing over me saying I have to get off this dern computer like "right this second!" . . . .

Sounds like my wife....

What's so important that you have to be on that computer!? Spend some time with me...(while she snores up a storm on the couch)

I fed her. Now she wants me to watch a movie with her. I like watching movies with her though she likes the exact same stuff I do. History, action, documentaries, westerns, SHE picks these types of movies. I don't have to watch many chick flicks.

Can we have an "ignore" feature that allows us to screen out posts by certain members? I think this would be very valuable in improving my forum experience, and would also likely contribute to a happier home life. @woodintyuuu is a case in point, and would be the first on my ignore list. I have only been saved by the grace of other members who have purchased his offerings before I could. I certainly don't want to restrict Cliff's right to post his amazing stash, but we need a way to protect those of us whose self-control turns to mush in the sight if gorgeously ugly wood. The torture and internal conflict Cliff has put me through in recent weeks must be stopped.

And here I thought @Tclem was going to be at the top of your list:popcorn:

Have you considered a tort claim? Something about the intentional infliction of severe emotional distress . . . . .

I can do that - and while I'm at it I'll fix it where everytime he views some of Cliff's wood, it automatically generates a label at Cliff's printer addressed to me and a PP invoice is sent to you. Great idea Tom you get a gold star.

Naw, I stopped being offended by Tony after a family member shared this toddler photo of him as evidence that he has always been a few bricks short of a load. It does explain a lot.

By coincidence Henry I found one of you back in the late 70s when you were just getting into computers. Nice 'stache . . .

Yep, and that purty wood paneling on the wall is what sparked my love of fine woods.

You can see why I was such a babe magnet now, huh?
