Last week I was having some issues with the AC electrical system on my 2000 Silverado. I was recommended this Auto Electrician. Well, I gotta tell you this guy was great at getting it fixed. It took 3 brand new AC control modules to get it fixed. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my wiring, just a bunch of badly made switches that cost 345 dollars each, which I didn't have to pay for. When we settled up, I asked what he knew about 3 phase inverters. He indicated he knew something, but not a whole lot.
I asked if he would be interested in checking out my Powermatic lathe. He agreed. We settled on him coming here this morning to try to get it running. After reading certain pages of the booklet, we got it running. Finally, after almost 2 years with that lathe sitting in my turning room, it works. Now, I'll probably start some new turnings, but not until I heal.
A couple hours before he got here, I went outside for something, but instead of making it off the steps like you're supposed to, I fell from the landing down about 3 feet just behind my Jointer. Needless to say, it was a mess. There was a bucket, a handsaw that was vertical that I hit near my neck. I'm lucky that I glanced off the saw cuz that coulda been a serious stab wound, but went into the bucket instead. It's cut in such a way that it covers my Pin router, and my left hand caught the cutout, and I got 3 successive cuts. One is a stitcher, but the other 2 are just scratches as far as I'm concerned. I also drew blood at my left wrist, my right elbow, and just above my nose where my glasses cross over. I also think I might have chipped the end of my elbow. It's painful if I accidentally put pressure there.
This post is to celebrate getting my back up and running, not about other stuff, so celebrate instead. ............ Nubs
