That is very kind of you to consider. If possible, I'd love to see a picture of the stems to see if there is something there that could work, otherwise I am particularly partial to crotches or any other gnarly sections for live edge bowls. I want to be extremely conscientious of the inconvenience factor to your wife so if all that will fit is a 12" diameter by 12" long section then so be it.
