Flamed Box Elder Log. ♫ εηdεd ♫

I'm a turner and I like to make hollow forms.

I'm looking for flamed box elder logs. Ideally the log would be about 10" or more in diameter and 18" to 24" long, have a lot of color with the pith centered or close to centered.

Any leads or information would be appreciated.

I have Boxelder logs but very little color in the ones I have currently. Mainly just plain white.

How soon do you need it? I've been on a fire yesterday and today and will babysitting it for a few days, but if you don't need it right away I should be able to help you out.

Allan, I'm not in a big rush, I have many other projects to work on. But if I am successful in finding what I'm looking for, it will move up to the top of the list. Thanks for your help.

When you get a chance to look for his log if you can keep an eye out for some at least 6/4 - 9" x 9" FBE for me I'd appreciate it Allan. Tony
