Reposting this sale - originally had this up for sale late last year but never sold so now reposting with a lower price!

What: Custom built by John Nichols, the lathe is in great condition.

Where: Lathe is currently being stored in an indoor temperature controlled storage facility near the Greentree area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Why Sell such an awesome Lathe? Long story :) - My Wife and I had to close Jon's (my Brother-in-law) shop because it was in his Mom's garage but we lost her last year and we just sold her house.
Jon moved in with my Wife and I (as he has a few disabilities) and Jon and I recently created this account together as we're trying to figure out how much of his shop to store, what to sell, and how to take our next steps forward in order to keep Jon working with wood in some capacity even if it isn't turning.

So My wife, Jon, and I came to the decision we'll let the Nichol's lathe go (and a LOT of other stuff) for now and try to build a new shop down the road.
But for now we don't have the room and we can't afford to keep it in a storage space forever.

Pickup/Delivery: Buyer will be responsible for pick Up or arranging delivery. We hired a moving company to place it in the storage unit when we moved it out of my MIL's and I can confidently say it will require a truck with a hydraulic lift.
Not sure what it weighs but it has to be more than 800lbs. Sand has been removed. Quite a few heavy pieces can be unbolted but it is still big. If you're really interested, will try to help you figure out how to get it to your shop

Please feel free to ask any questions and thanks for reading,
Jon & Mark

Amazing. I saw this the last time and wished it were in the eu. Then I would probably buy it and tell the wife she can expect some nice bowls in future to help her digest the massive dent in budget.
