@kazuma78 Josh it looks like you logged in an hour ago so you weren't in the line of fire thankfully - got any inside scoop on what happened?
 
No inside scoop really. I heard about it right after it happened but all I know is what has been released. Someone shot a doctor I think at the VA hospital and then shot themself. Fortunately it was just one person and he didn't shoot anyone else.

First thing I did after I hung up the phone from being told about it earlier was look to see when he last logged in. Was glad to see he had. I know it's a big base but still . . . .

Damn shame though for a bunch of family members don't have a loved coming home tonight.
 
Thanks for the concern guys, i really appreciate it.
It is really sad. I mean that guy went in to work just as any other normal day, he just happened to be the guy to deal with the shooter.
