The next option is a stunning block of Golden Amboyna with full figure and/or pinning on both large faces. It measures 16-11/16" x 11-7/8" x 1-3/4" and weighs 6#. In my mind, this block is special due to its figure and size, which maximizes yield and value. It is not priced by the pound but by my perceived value, which is $225 + shipping (edit). It is pretty defect-free.

I am close to the end of my Golden Amboyna, and I have one more LFRB Game Box full of longer blocks.

These measure:
1-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 19-5/8" (highly figured)
1-3/16" x 1-7/8" x 19-3/4" (a few burl eyes but more wavy grain)
1-11/16" x 2-1/2" x 15-11/16" (highly figured)
1-7/8" x 5-7/8" x 15-3/16" (highly figured, has a angled cut on one end)
3" x 3-13/16" x 10" (nice figured / grain)
3-1/4" x 3/4" x 11-5/8" (highly figured)
1-1/4" x 1-5/8" x 9-7/8" (wavy grain, angle cut on one end)

Burl weight is 9.7 pounds x $13/lb = $125 + $15 shipping = $140 shipped

I have worked my way through the line of folks who wanted Amboyna blocks, so this box is available.

Eric I got my box today and I must say I was very pleased. The extra blanks are very nice and will be put to good use.That black and white ebony is really nice. And you are right. That bigger slab is really special. Man those eyes are incredible. I am happy. Thanks again.
