He is 11- last year his team the Bears were 0 and 8- They were bad. This year-his last in the YMCA kiddie tackle league -they are 7 and 0 . Last game of the championship is tonight. Of course it is clear as a bell and going to be the coldest night by far this fall- low 20's BRRRRR. Starts at 7- I hope I do not freeze my keister to one of those hard seats. Not a pro or college fan but the kids are a hoot to watch.

Good luck. Here's hoping for an 8-0 season.

Ok I did not freeze to death- but glad I have a good heart. our team went off to a 13 point lead in first half- looked like they would be a pushover. No way- 3 minutes to go we are down 19 to 13 and it is looking dismal we have 40 yds to go and it is 4th dn. Our best runner runs from one side to the other and back-finally gets to the line of scrimmage and off to a touchdown and in the end we win 20-19 best game of the season. 8 and 0 grandkid is beamin. Time for gramps to go to bed. probably my last football game to watch for the season...........

I'm with you, the kids sports are nest. We love HS football. Heck it's a religion here. I like wathing the girls play basketball too- Every now and then you might see a male ball player slacking a little but you NEVER see a girl HS ball player giving less than 100%. They may not compete on the same level but they play harder IMO.

Glad they won sounds like it was a blast. Time for bed for me too it was a long day - had to go to Dallas - hate having to do that.
