and I know I know, it’s gonna check, crack, cup, etc. but I gotta start somewhere, and trying to ease my way into carving spoons, kuksas, and just piddling around.

A little tip to help prevent cracking, dry them slowly inside a closed paper bag, things will still warp if the want to, but it should minimize warps and cracks.
