Hi My name is Mike Evans. I’ve been involved with carpentry and cabinet making since high school. I graduated in 1980. I found your site because I am in possession of an early 60’s Parks Planer. It’s a Parks No. 20. It’s a 3Ph 5hp. I saw a smaller Parks Planer on eBay and in the Ad it said parts still available from wood barter.com.

To be honest, I’m not looking for parts, I’m looking to trade our planer for a smaller one. I now manage a shop, we’re in the process of stream lining our shop. We still need a planer, we don’t need this monster. The blades are dull other than that, it’s complete.

I can send anyone pics. This is definitely a pick-up situation.

Thanks for reading.

Welcome from Bulverde, TEXAS! Would love to tap into some of your experience here on WB. Does your woodworking experience cover the full realm of woodworking? Chuck

Welcome from Austria. Ignore the Texans, read our rules and reply four times to be able to post anywhere on the forum.

Welcome from the Philly burbs. I lived in Baltimore for a decade and know your area pretty well. I'm a bridge engineer by profession, any i designed some sign structures for the ICC (MD 200), worked on phase 2 of the silverline out to Dulles, and am involved in the current redesign of the Francis Scott Key bridge. Not much wood involved with those, but I'm sure you know all 3!

If you need some good local suppliers, check out exotic lumber in Annapolis and free State timbers in Timonium.
